While announcing the donation, his wife, Mrs Mary-Ann Shaibu, said the gesture became necessary when she found out that only the Edo North CWO did not have a bus in Edo State.
During a programme in Benin last month, she discovered that only the Edo North CWO did not come with a bus of its own and God ministered to her she vowed to provide the bus for the Catholic women.
“In fulfillment of the vow, she urged her husband to donate the bus to the organisation.
Responding on behalf of the women, the President, Mrs. Felicity Izobo, expressed gratitude to the donor, stressing that she was overwhelmed with joy. The president said, mobility has been their biggest challenges.
he president added: “In March 28, when the adviser to CWO, Rev. Sis. Angela Balogun, came back from Rome, she gave her a key holder and she said to herself what is she going to to with key holder since she already had one but she collected and took it to the Blessed Sacrament and laid it there and said Mother Mary, you knows my hearts desire, grant the heart desire of your daughter and since then she kept praying and today that prayer is answered.”
Izobo sadi because Shaibu has shown CWO mercy in the catholic year of Mercy, that God will showed him and his family mercy, women gave a gift of Rosary to mrs Philip Shaibu, saying this is the word of God and it shall be well with you and your family.
The CWO Champlain, Rev. Father Martins, acknowledged the donation and showered blessings on the donor.
