Things have changed as an average Fulani man is thought to be a threat to whatever locality he is found. The recent killings and attacks launched by the Fulani herdsmen have changed the mentality of Nigerians.
People have become reoriented when it comes to receiving these people as they feel uncomfortable seeing them around them.
Even though things have gone sour in recent times, it would not change the fact that they are Nigerians too. The hostility they have shown to other Nigerians have made many people question their motive; people are skeptical about the things they could do to them if they ever get into their communities. That aside, there are some Fulani herdsmen that are peace loving and calm; they are not violent like the others even though their reputation is far gone. This young Fulani boy will convince you and make your heart warm at the same time. Contrary to the popular belief that Fulani people are illiterates who do not have any inkling of interest in education, there are many of them who are educated and doing well in their various chosen fields.

The picture of this little boy would change your school of thought. He was spotted reading while his cattle grazed on a farmland. This shows that this little boy yearns for something bigger; he has a deeper calling. He was caught going through a mathematics textbook by the roadside as the animals fed.
This picture was taken by a passerby who found the scenario interesting. He stopped to be sure of what he saw; he discovered the Fulani boy had a textbook named ‘Understanding Mathematics’ in his laps. Time management is a course everyone needs to take. This little boy has known at this early stage of his life that he could have other things done while the cattle graze on the farmland.
He is not going to force the grasses down their throats after all. This is his own quest for education. No one knows if he has access to education but it is interesting to know that he longs to be educated like the other Nigerians in the society. Do you have any word for this little Fulani boy?
